Greetings! My name is Francine, and I am originally from Palo Alto, California, but I currently reside in Modesto, California.
I have three precious kitties whose names are, Simba, Nala and Ninastorm. They are very special to me and they bring much
joy into my life.
Currently, I am working on my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Social Work, and I hope to further my education
by achieving a Masters Degree in Psychology, and then a Psy.D. My aspriations are to become a Parole Agent and to excel in
adolescent psychotherapy. I would also like to obtain substance abuse counseling certification, as well as domentic violence
counseling certification. There are so many options within my field of study and work, it is hard to make up my mind!
At been working as a Detention Officer in Juvenile Hall for two years now, and obtaining that position was one of my dreams
come true. I enjoy every minute of my work even though there are tough moments, stressful moments, and moments of sadness
and fear. However, as a believer in God, I always manage to push my way through any obstacle that comes before me.
It is a rewarding experience to be able to help our youth. Our youth today are in much need of love and care, nurturing,
and healthy environments. I cannot stress enough how imparative it is that we focus more on our youth's needs, and be more
available to them so they can have someone to turn to in the time of need.
